In order to guarantee the provision of services, Conac has its own ICT department, so that all or almost all applications can be developed in full internally, and so that new regulations and tendencies can be respondeded to in a flexible manner.
APL for actuaries covers the retirement pensions of the type "defined benefits", "defined contributions" as well as the risk covers death and disability. The application is based on the actuarial experience which has been built up over the course of the past 30 years.
Conac uses one actuarial tool per client, including all subprocesses for actuarial calculations, such as for example :
- Calculation of the IAS/IFRS Benefit obligations and Service Cost
- Calculation of provisions and solvability margins in accordance with the Finance plan
- Calculation of the "Funding" in accordance with the Finance plan
- Calculation of the cash-outs
This tool not only provides the result at the calculation date, but also allows for a complete projection towards the future of expensens and obligations, and this for each pension scheme per employer or for all pension schemes added together.
ALM is an internally developed "asset and liability modelling tool" for the implementation of the risk analysis of pension fund schemes on the basis of stochastic models.
PMI is a system which was specifically designed for most of the services regarding pension administration and releated towards our clients. PMI has been applied for more then 400.000 participants, and is based on rougly 20 years experience in pension administration.
This accounting software was specifically developed by Conac for pension schemes. It meets the legal and regulatory requirements as laid down in the Royal Decree of June 5th 2007, regarding the annual statements of accounts for the instutions for occupational pensions. This software is used for the automated reporting of the portfolio to the National Bank of Belgium, and for the reporting of the annual accounts to the regulator FSMA. Fund Manager is used by approximately 50% of the Belgian Pension Funds, and is based on almost 20 years experience.
This web based application is a document system which has been developed by Conac in order to support the internal communication of IORP . All general information, formal documents, records and reports can be consultedbin auser-friendly manner and with the highest security. Not only the managers but for example also the appointed Compliance Officer or the Internal Auditor can efficiently consult all the information depending on the authorization they have been granted. During its's development, the introduction of eCorporate by the FSMA had already been anticpated, so that an automatic link to the FSMA eCorporate application has been provided, from the moment all the technical format requirements have arranged by the FSMA.
Benefit-on-line is a web based application which aims to offer a communication platform to the participants of a pension scheme. it enables the participants to consult, print and download pension data and Benefit Statements
